Over 17 years of working in the district with the best co-workers in the world, Brad has developed relationships, built trust with others, garnered the support of his superiors, and managed various groups within the building—both adults and kids.

Versatility and a willingness to do what is needed throughout the past two decades have proven how capable Brad is in all he does for students, other teachers, and administrators.

While his experience speaks for itself, Brad has garnered 3 professional awards for his work in the classroom over his time with Wasatch High School—other teachers and students alike have been drawn to his creativity, capability, and caring nature toward others.

Mr. Foster is professional in all he does, but he isn’t above getting his hands dirty when he needs to: always willing to roll back his sleeves to get the work done, Brad has learned to step out of his comfort zone when needed—whether in the classroom, in the front office, or on a cold winters day when his state-placing cross-country team needs a little positive assistance on their afternoon run!

Mr. Foster has worked with the best of the best! The teams he has worked with—be it a PLC team, a graduation team, a coaching team, or a front office team—have been the highest-functioning teams in Wasatch County School District, not because of his involvement, but because of others he has worked with. In other words, Brad understands the high value a highly-functioning team can bring to the table in any situation.

Students are drawn to Mr. Foster’s style of teaching because he is not only personable, but genuine in his interactions with others. In short, “Brad is highly respected by students, who regularly seek him out for a fist bump, a pep talk, and/or a protien shake” (Ryan Bishop).

  • “What distinguishes Brad as a leader is his strong instructional foundation and his belief in

continuous improvement through collaboration. His years in the classroom have given him a

deep appreciation for the work teachers do each day and the importance of supportive, reflective

professional learning communities. Brad values shared leadership, purposeful use of data, and

ongoing dialogue focused on student learning” (Steve Coburn)

  • “As a coach, I especially valued Brad’s accessibility. He made every effort to be available during times when I needed guidance or support the most, whether related to scheduling, program concerns, or unexpected challenges. When issues arose involving players or parents, Brad has always been clear and confident, in helping me understand both sides of the issue. He addressed situations professionally and thoughtfully, while remaining supportive of me as a coach and always keeping the best interests of students at the forefront” (Casey Lewis, WHS Girls Lacrosse Coach)
